Check your google now search bar. You might now have a fancy voice activated search!
After upgrading android a few days ago, i noticed some new text in the search bar, asking me to say “OK GOOGLE”. I did, and it activated voice recognition and then search for what i said next. COOL!
It then spoke the answer (if it was a wikipedia entry or something else it recognised). Very handy.
I agree its a bit of a gimmick at the moment, but the voice recognition was fairly good and i can see it improving to the point where its second nature.
