Sunday Special is a top London comedy night, which plays host to some of the biggest names in UK comedy, its also a really good night out!
They came to acmConsulting with an old in house website that was only maintainable by one person and was looking very dated - they wanted to modernize. Sunday Special wanted new website that was both easy to update and graphically appealing. They already had a designer on board for the look and feel, but turned to acmConsulting for development and implementation.

The site revolves around a custom written CMS. The CMS is built on cakePHP, the rapid development framework and MYSQL for database connectivity.
The CMS has allowed less technical members of the Sunday Special to update the site, keeping its content fresh and allowing the site to keep customer informed of new events and lineups.
The design and CSS was provided by Tom Kingsley, we took his work and adapted it to the CMS also including some JQuery to allow for interface elements which would otherwise have been imposable.
