The SportZu site is huge, offering its users a one stop shop for sporting social networking, allowing users to create groups for their teams, upload videos and images of their sporting activities, display a public page of their best bits, discusses/rate/become fans of site content and so much more.
This is all made possible by the Drupal content management system, on which the site is based.
acmConsulting was contracted onto this project by INBOX-USA, adding us to a international team of developers and designers working on this large project.
The site uses Drupal and many contributed modules, to extend Drupal to include user video upload, drag and drop play list re-ordering, configurable personal pages, profiles, groups, buddies, tool tips etc... the functionality list on this site is massive.
As well as Drupal module writing and customization in PHP, our remit also included a large amount of JQuery code writing to keep the user interaction smooth, as well as some server maintenance and configuration.
Working with developers and designers from around the world was exiting and challenging, but INBOX-USA did an excellent job of keeping everyone on the same page.
